Munhamo Gumbo Mberi

Director

As a director of Dignity Care Support Ltd, Munhamo Gumbo brings extensive qualifications and experience to the organization. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Welfare, and a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management. With over 16 years in health and social care, Munhamo has successfully managed several care homes and served as a CQC registered manager for domiciliary care.

Specialising in mental health, substance misuse, learning disabilities, and complex care, he offers a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise. Munhamo is dedicated to providing person-centered care, ensuring that service users receive tailored support that enhances their well-being. His strong advocacy for individual rights and commitment to high standards of care significantly contribute to the mission of Dignity Care Support Ltd, positively impacting the community it serves.

Alex Hammond

Registered Manager and Nominated Individual

Alex Hammond is a highly skilled and compassionate nurse with extensive experience in patient care, particularly in mental health. Over the years, he has dedicated himself to providing high-quality support to individuals across diverse healthcare settings, developing a keen understanding of patient needs. His in-depth experience enables him to approach each patient with empathy, resilience, and tailored care that supports physical and mental well-being.

His expertise in mental health care is a cornerstone of Dignity Care Support Ltd, making him exceptionally equipped to guide his team in addressing complex mental health issues professionally and sensibly. With a patient-first philosophy, Alex is dedicated to ensuring Dignity Care provides high-quality, personalised care. Alex holds a BSc in Nursing (Mental Health with Registration) from De Montfort University, an MBA in Marketing from the University of Leicester, and an MSc in Clinical Neuropsychiatry from the University of Birmingham.

 

Dr Farai Makoni

Quality & Compliance Manager

Dr Farai Makoni is a dedicated and experienced general adult psychiatrist, proudly serving as a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. With a career in the mental health sector spanning over a decade, Dr Farai Makoni has honed expertise across a range of settings, including community, inpatient, and specialist services such as Early Intervention in Psychosis.

As a Quality and Compliance Manager, Dr Farai Makoni brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to mental health care, ensuring that supported living and domiciliary care services are delivered with the highest standards of excellence and empathy. Committed to fostering a supportive environment, Dr Farai Makoni is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their fullest potential and enhancing their quality of life.
